If you are planning a vacation to Disney while pregnant, you may just want to take a bit of time and consider which attractions may be too jerky or bumpy. This could possibly cause you or your baby danger. Especially if you plan on vacationing to Disney with other people, you want to know before you get in the attraction’s queue whether it is one that you may consider avoiding or not. Really, who wants to stand in an entire queue only to find out before you load that the attraction may be too dangerous for you!
To help you with your planning, here are the rides, according to Disney, you should consider avoiding per theme park:
Magic Kingdom:
- Splash Mountain
- Tomorrowland Speedway
- Space Mountain
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
EPCOT:
- The Sum of all Thrills
Hollywood Studios:
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
- The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
- Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
Animal Kingdom:
- Kilamanjaro Safaris
- Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
- Primeval Whirl
To help you when you are actually in the theme parks, grab one of the park maps or find them here online. Look for the red triangle which designates the “Physical Considerations” attractions which are listed above. Remember, Disney does not prevent you from riding these attractions, only lets you know which ones may be too rough for someone who is pregnant.
With only a little over 10 attractions listed above and nearly 50 attractions to experience in Disney World, you will still have plenty of magic left to experience! Enjoy your day in Disney.
