For many, a vacation to Disney World is a golden opportunity to take great photos in one of the top photographed places in the world. There are a large variety of photographers who specifically target a visit to Disney in order to add those photos to their portfolio. From photos with the family and characters, to gorgeous photos of fireworks displays, the number of great photos that can be taken during the day are endless!
During recent visits to Disney World, I have had conversations with professional photographers who have set up for photo shoots of the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular in the Magic Kingdom. During the conversation, I requested they tell me the most important things they bring along for a day of shooting at Disney World. Here are the items they suggested (click on any link or photo to find that product):
1. A camera bag that is large enough to hold all of the needed items. The bag also needs to include organizations for camera items such as this one by Lowepro:
This bag will help you keep up with all of your camera items plus still offer room for holding the other items you need for your day in Disney World.
2. UV Protector such as this one by Tiffen which offers great UV protection as well as protection on your lens. In the past, I have actually blogged about how this type of protection cover will help protect your lens from getting broken.
3. If you plan on taking great photos of the fireworks or of movement of the rides, you really should invest in a tripod. There are a wide variety of tripods available depending on your camera type and needs. These products are a great start to getting you on your way to taking the best Disney photos to commemorate your Disney vacation!
