The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

Opening Date:

June 4, 1999

Guests load their honey pots in an open air setting. Once loaded guests move as if through the pages of a huge storybook.  Guests them move into the stories, first heading towards the 100 Acres Woods where you quickly become aware that it is a warm and blustery day there with Piglet holding barroom and being spun around. Winnie the Pooh is clutching a balloon, while Eeyore looks on. In the garden, Roo is being blown away as Kanga attempts to hold onto him.

In Owl’s tree, the house is a mess with the framed photos scatter this way and that. On the left wall, quick guests can spy a photo of J. Thaddeus Toad handing a deed over to Owl.  The second tribute to the ride Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride is located on the right on the floor showing Winnie the Pooh greeting Moley, Mr. Toad’s sidekick. Mr Toad’s ride was once located in the same location as the now Winnie the Pooh.

Soon, guests are greeted by a bouncing Tigger who is boisterously making his way through the 100 Acre Wood before transporting everyone into Pooh’s house. Here we see Tigger has Pooh pinned to the floor with excitement over seeing the Heffalumps and Woozles. Soon after, Pooh falls asleep anddreams of honey and Heffalumps.

Soon, guests enter a room filled with rain as the honey pot floats passed Gopher squirting water from his mouth, and Roo, Rabbit, Eeyore, Owl, Kanga and Roo working to save Piglet from floating away.  As the guest moves to the last room, they celebrate that the rain has stopped along with Pooh who is indulging in a pot of honey. Then, one final book announces “The End”.

Opinion or personal story about the Attraction:

This is a perfect attraction for children. Though it is a dark ride, there is nothing for children to be fearful of along the ride. The ride is whimsical with loads of beautiful scenes and colors. there is even an extremely hard Hidden Mickey to spot.
