My family loves to tour the Disney parks late at night. If there are crazy-late Extra Magic Hours, my family will definitely be there to appreciate them! If you have the ability to stay late at the parks, especially the Magic Kingdom, you really should. You will find that after the Wishes Fireworks display, the crowd levels really disappear.
And if you stay long enough to close the park, keep your eye out for a waving Mickey Mouse. We found him located outside from his new meet and greet area on the left as you are about to exit the park on the steps of the Tony’s Town Square Restaurant area. We were directed to be sure to “wave good-bye to my boss, Mickey Mouse” by on looking cast members. It was a fun extra to our already exciting day at the Magic Kingdom!
