How to Manage the Extensive Lines for the EPCOT Candlelight Processional

Candle

If you have ever tried to visit the EPCOT Candlight Processional, you are well aware the that the lines to see the show are EXCESSIVE.  Most of the time, there is a line that extends on both sides of the American Pavilion.  The line on the one side stretches out to the French Pavilion, while the other often stretches to the Germany Pavilion!

If you are wanting to sit in the American Pavilion for this show, you will need to show up AT least 1 hour before the show.  The show lasts for about 45 minutes so you will be signing up for quite a bit of your day at EPCOT when trying to attend this show.  If the park is particularly busy that day, you may want to shoot for the early show by getting in line an hour before it, then know that just in case you do not get to see that show, you will get in the next show.

During our visit over the Thanksgiving holiday, we did see Jodi Benson.  By the time we got to EPCOT to get in the line, we knew we were going to miss the show we intended on seeing.  Not wanting to stay in line until the next show, we decided to simply stand in the back of the theater until the show started.  We did have a great view of the show and did not have to wait about 2 hours to see the show.

Here are some photos from our view of the show:
