How to Make Disney’s Mickey Waffles at Home!

When traveling to Disney World, so many people love to enjoy a Mickey waffle for breakfast.  To be honest, if they served these waffles all day long, I would definitely be tempted to have them as a late night snack!  These waffles are not only adorable because they are shaped like Mickey Mouse, but they have the best taste.

How to have Mickey Waffles at Home

The Golden Malted company recently contacted us to provide a review of their product line that is being sold for home use.  The company, Golden Malted, is the company that supplies the mix for the waffles sold in the Walt Disney World resorts!  Now, you have the opportunity to make these amazing tasting waffles right at home!

With the company sending us the mix, we made up a batch and decided to make pancakes instead of waffles.  Here is what the mix looks like, along with the syrup they also sell:

To make the pancakes, the mix included 1 cup of mix, 1 egg, 3/4 cup of whole milk and 1 tablespoon of butter.  The recipe for the waffles is similar but a bit different as follows: 1 cup of mix, 1 egg, 5 ounces water, 2 tablespoons of butter.  The recipe was quick and ready within minutes.

I used a flattop to cook the pancakes, even making one that was shaped like Mickey Mouse:

When we were done, we had made about 10 6 inch pancakes, one with ears looking a bit like Mickey Mouse:

The syrup and the pancakes were fantastic.  My family really enjoyed the fun of having one of our favorite foods from Disney at home!  Visit Golden Malted to purchase your very own waffle or pancake mix.  You will find that in addition to the original mix, there are many others such as chocolate chip, blueberry and gluten free selections!  Thank you again to Golden Malted for providing the product for our review!  The product is truly amazing!
