During my most recent travels aboard the Disney Magic, I was traveling with someone who was in need of a handicap accessible room. Only being aboard one Disney Cruise before, I was not sure what to expect. The room on the first cruise was one of the inside staterooms of the Disney Dream. The room was very tight and felt way too small for our party of three. With a party of three again on the Disney Magic vacation, I as a bit worried we would not have enough room for the walker and the electric convenience vehicle (ECV).
When we arrived to our inside stateroom aboard the Disney Magic, we were excited to see that we had plenty of room for those items and all of our belongings.
Here are some photos of the room:
Here is a photo of the bed with side lights and tables.
Here you can see the bunk beds/couch area. This area is offset alongside the bathroom. When you are out at sea, the room floor does shake quite a bit.
You can see the television above which swivels between the main bed and this couch/bunk bed area. Across from this couch is the vanity:
The bathroom was heavenly with a shower area that was amazing! The water drained on both open sides of the shower making for a wonderful shower experience!
The room was amazing. We literally had no complaints about it. Not only was there plenty of space, all of the furnishings were very new from the recent refurbishment of the boat. Great times and comfortable furnishing! The room number was 6147 aboard the Disney Magic. If you area headed aboard a Disney Cruise ship and are to stay in a handicap accessible room, know you will love the space!
