The 2013 Epcot Food and Wine Festival is from September 27 – November 11, 2013, in Epcot, Walt Disney World. The festival is held throughout Epcot. You’ll find the Festival Welcome Center in Future World and the marketplace booths surrounding the World Showcase Lagoon.
The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival has complimentary offerings that are included with your Epcot admission. These include sample wine tastings, the cranberry bog, and meet ‘n greets with celebrity chefs. Then there are extra-cost events to further enhance your experience. In addition, you can purchase food items from the market place booths. Your Epcot admission cost will be dependent on whether you are purchasing a one day ticket or a multi-day pass to Walt Disney World. A one-day ticket is currently $94.79 for ages 10 and up; $88.40 for kids 3-9; tax included. Florida residents are eligible for discounts. In addition, you may find discounted tickets through your local AAA Automobile club office. With your Epcot admission fee, you’ll receive access to all shows, attractions, and rides at Epcot. In addition, you can visit some of those complimentary Food and Wine offerings.
The Festival Center in Future World is open 9AM – Park Close. The World Showcase booths open at 11am with World Showcase.
There are exhibits and culinary demos happening before 11am in the Festival Center. Most of the culinary demos are ticketed events, but you may be able to purchase a ticket right before they begin.
Set up around the World Showcase, 29 individual kiosks will offer regional and national delicacies to sample and taste. Small plates and beverages were priced in 2012 between $3-$7 and most give guests the chance to try specialty recipes from International locations!
The Marketplace booths accept many forms of payment, including: cash, credit card, Key to the World card (with room charging privileges), Disney gift card, and Disney Visa reward dollars. In addition, don’t forget that you can use your Disney Dining Plan snack credits. When doing so, you’ll get the best value by purchasing the most expensive DDP snack eligible items with your DDP and then. A convenient method of payment is the Epcot Food and Wine Festival gift card. Load it up, and you’re on your way. There’s even a convenient wrist card that helps you keep your hands free for plates and wine glasses! Purchase yours at Epcot’s Main Entrance ticket booths, Guest Relations, or at select merchandise locations.
