Many Disney travelers have loved the new extended hours added at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The park’s extended hours and available nighttime show has made the park feel more like a full-day theme park instead of one you visit for only part of a day.
While Disney has not made an official announcement stating that the hours will be reduced, a review of the hours online for the theme park show that the park will begin a shorter schedule for the Disney’s Animal Kingdom starting in September, closing as early as 6 p.m. by November. Animal Kingdom will close at 7 p.m. for most of October, and 6 p.m. for most of November and December. The week of Christmas and New Year’s the hours are extended to 8 p.m.
If you plan on seeing “The Jungle Book: Alive with Magic” show, you need to do so before it closes on September 5, 2016. The new Rivers of Light nighttime show was planned for an April 2016 debut which has been indefinitely delayed.
