Photos, for myself, are the fastest way for me to remember details of my past. I look at photos and am immediately taken back to days when my Grandmother and Grandfather were alive and I was a child of 8 more excited than I can say to spend time with my family and unwrap the vast array of Christmas gifts. Though I wish I could simply go back to those days, photos are my next best option.
A few days ago, my good friend from CookingUnderwriter sent me the below photo of her fun she had at Disneyland when she was a kid:
I absolutely love this photo. The Mickey Mouse hats are adorable, classic. I also find the version of captain hook to be great as well. It helps me to understand how these photos are so important. I personally do not have any photos of myself with the characters when I was a child. I know that the characters then look much more different than those found today in the parks.
I greatly appreciate this photo and hope you enjoyed it as well. Please email your old photos to natalie (at) meetthemagic.com. The photos may help others recall their time in Disney with their friends and family.
Live, learn and remember often.
