Controversy with Upcoming Changes to Pirates of the Caribbean

Pirates of the Caribbean
The Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the most beloved attractions in Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Disneyland Paris.  Wanting to keep the attraction less controversial, the Disney company has decided to cut out the infamous Wench Auction scene!
The announcement was made in an article posted this week on Disney Parks Blog which stated that the Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland Paris, which is currently closed for refurbishment until July 24th, will be re-opening with noticeable changes.  Once opened, the auction scene will change to feature characters selling items such as chickens, guns and paintings rather than women.  The famed redhead will remain but in a new role.  Similar changes will be coming to Walt Disney World and Disneyland in 2018.
Many Disney fans are very upset that there are going to be changes to this beloved attraction.  Others are excited to see that Disney has decided to move away from having women be sold in an auction.  What do you think?
