Atlantis The Reef Resort Room Review and Photos

The Atlantis Resort is located on Paradise Island right off of the island of Nassau.  If you have been on several of the Disney Cruises, you might have ported in the Nassau and had the opportunity to take an excursion to the Atlantis Resort.  My family decided to go on a vacation to Atlantis after we had been to Nassau and NOT gone to the Atlantis Resort.  The commercials were all too enticing and after reading that this resort was one of the Top 10 Family Vacations by the Travel Channel, we decided to head south and check it out!

When we placed our reservation, we priced the vacation for an October or March vacation.  We QUICKLY found that the prices for March were much more.  In fact it was 2.5 times more!  We were able to get a discount on the flights by booking direct through the Atlantis website (actually saving us $200 per person).

The Resort is now featuring an even better package as follows: Rates from $99 per night plus Kids under 12 Eat Breakfast and Dinner FREE! Book now for travel 10/01/14 thru 12/25/15!

Our room was in The Reef.  This is a resort which is the luxury condominium hotel residence rooms.  The rooms include a pullout couch, a kitchenette, dvd player, kitchen supplies, etc.  The rooms are very nice and the condo is new.  We were very excited to get to stay in these accommodations.  In fact, my luggage was torn during the flight and my clothes needed washing.  This (to our luck) was the only hotel on property that had washers and dryers.

During the vacation, my son slept on this pullout couch.  We had to rearrange the furniture a bit to accommodate the space and small dining table found in the room.

The bed was beautiful.  However, the mattress was so hard.  In fact, my husband and I remember missing the beds at the DoubleTree Lake Buena Vista!

This is a window to the bathroom from the bedroom.  We never used the bathtub and kept this window closed.  The windows to the bathroom are foggy glass style so even with them slid closed, you could still somewhat see in the bathroom.  If traveling for a honeymoon or for romance, this is perfect!

In the bathroom, the toilet is behind a foggy glass door. WHAT!  I am not sure about you but what I do in silhouette in the bathroom is up to me only and not to be shared.  So… I was not a fan of that foggy glass wall.

The overview of the beautiful bathroom.  Just so gorgeous.  The scale, see in brown there on the floor, is perfect for seeing how much weight you have lost from the hours of play in the Aquaventure Water Park!

The view from our room at The Reef.  What more could you ask for!  My family would wake daily and look outside in amazement at how pure and gorgeous the view is.  Phenomenal.

The room was wonderful.  I would have loved to receive free Wifi during the stay.  We enjoyed the room, though we spent very little time in it…

If you have not been to Atlantis, I highly recommend you so so.  The stay is relaxing, exciting, safe, entertaining and so worth every penny!  We had such a great time and will certainly plan to return!  To book your vacation or begin checking into your vacation at Atlantis, click here for all the details.
