On Jun3 30, 2016, the Magic Kingdom Park introduced a new experience called PinQuest. To begin, guests will be invited to purchase a PinQuest adventure pack. This pack includes a lanyard to showcase your pins; a decoder medal for use with PinQuest pins; and a lanyard pouch to hold the map included in the adventure kit.
The pouch is also large enough to hold the other PinQuest clue cards which can be purchased separately.
Guests are invited to purchase all six of the different PinQuest clue cards. Each of these clue cards includes a question that the guests must answer. With the answer, the guest then tells their answer to a NavigatEAR Cast Member who work in a variety of locations. Once the correct answer is given, the clue card is redeemed for a PinQuest pin. To create this redemption, guests will remove the perforated portion of the “Ticket” on the bottom of the clue card.
Guests can continue the hunt by using the decoder medal from the adventure kit by lining up the arrows for each pin to determine your next destination within Magic Kingdom Park.
Should guests purchase all six of the clue cards, receive the stamp and pins from all locations, they can then return to either Frontier Trading Post in Frontierland or Curtain Call Collectibles on Main Street, U.S.A. Guests can then complete their PinQuest pin set by purchasing the QuestEar pin complete pin.
This is supposed to only be available through the summer and there is no official word on the pricing of the pins or the adventure pack. If you have played, be sure to leave a comment on what you thought!
