When taking a vacation to Walt Disney World, many times parents feel overwhelmed with the planning of the vacation and the thought of taking their children along for the adventure. There are many details that need to be thought of, especially when traveling with a baby! Here are a few tips to help you in your planning:
Baby Care Centers: The very best place for parents to visit with a small child are the Baby Care Centers. Here parents will find nursing stations, changing tables, microwaves, running water, and a variety of needed baby items such as baby food, diapers, children’s medications. This is also an excellent place to visit when you and your little one need some quiet time.
Attractions: There are many attractions you can visit with a small child who is sleeping. Here are a few per park:
- Magic Kingdom – Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Walt Disney World Railroad, Carousel of Progress
- EPCOT – Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, Ellen’s Energy Adventure
- Hollywood Studios – Backlot Tour, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, The Great Movie Ride
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Wildlife Express Train, Finding Nemo
If you child does not sleep soundly through any interruptions, heading to your room mid-day is also a great option!
