Disney Attractions to Visit with a Sleeping Baby

When taking a vacation to Walt Disney World, many times parents feel overwhelmed with the planning of the vacation and the thought of taking their children along for the adventure.  There are many details that need to be thought of, especially when traveling with a baby!  Here are a few tips to help you in your planning:

Baby Care Centers: The very best place for parents to visit with a small child are the Baby Care Centers.  Here parents will find nursing stations, changing tables, microwaves, running water, and a variety of needed baby items such as baby food, diapers, children’s medications.  This is also an excellent place to visit when you and your little one need some quiet time.

Attractions: There are many attractions you can visit with a small child who is sleeping.  Here are a few per park:

  • Magic Kingdom – Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Walt Disney World Railroad, Carousel of Progress
  • EPCOT – Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, Ellen’s Energy Adventure
  • Hollywood Studios – Backlot Tour, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, The Great Movie Ride
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Wildlife Express Train, Finding Nemo
These are just a few suggestions of attractions that can be done with a sleeping child.  Some are not quite ideal but do offer better accommodations for the little one than attractions such as Tower of Terror!

If you child does not sleep soundly through any interruptions, heading to your room mid-day is also a great option!

Have a great time and know that your little one is in for the time of their life there at Walt Disney World!  And if this is your child’s first vacation to Disney World, be sure to commemorate the visit with some photos like the one above of me and my son!  It will certainly be cherished for years to come!
