It is no secret that I am an avid fan of the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue. In fact, my son and I have been to the show 4 times. And during those shows, we have had someone from our table be included in the final act 3 times!
What is the secret?
The secret appears to be in table placement. On the three occasions where someone has been selected, we had a table that was located adjoining the stage (as in, we could both eat at our table and touch the stage!).
The second tip which has worked for my son twice is to flirt;). The first time my son flirted because that is his nature. He waved. Waited. Got a wave back. Waved. Waited. And so on! He seemed to know that the one to flirt with was Dolly. And he was right! Dolly chooses a child to go onstage for the final act to play the sheriff.
On our most recent visit, my son decided he wanted to be onstage yet again so he began waving and flirting with Dolly. When it was time to make a selection, he was a shoe in!

That is so cool I will have to keep those tips in mind for the next time we are there..
Great tips! Thanks for sharing. I haven’t been at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue in many years, but I am considering this for an upcoming trip.
